With proper maintenance, Atex protective clothing maintains its level of protection and long-term durability. By following the washing and maintenance instructions below, you ensure that your workwear offer the best possible protection even in demanding work environments, such as the industrial, construction and chemical sectors.

In order to maintain the product's certified properties, the product must be renewed at regular intervals.
A properly maintained product lasts longer in use and retains its protective properties better.
General instructions for maintaining Atex workwear:
- Sort the laundry according to the washing instructions attached inside the product, as well as color and dirtiness.
- EN-marked protective clothing is always washed separately from other laundry or together with other similarly EN-marked products.
- The product is washed inside out and completely closed. In this way, the properties of the fabric and the fasteners of the garment and the reflectors are preserved longer. It is especially important to close the stickers with care, so that they do not fray in the wash and lose their fixing power.
- Washing machine filling level recommendation 60-80%.
- Use only synthetic detergents - no soap-based ones. Follow the dosing instructions on the detergent package. For colored clothes only detergent intended for colored laundry.Do not use optical brighteners or fabric softener.
- The garment must not be soaked or dried too much.
- A tumble dryer is not recommended for EN-marked products.
- Straighten the EN-marked product when damp on a hanger to dry.
- Steam may not be used when ironing reflective tapes and fire-resistant products.
- Check the garment after washing and drying before putting it into use.
- To repair EN-marked products, use only materials with the same properties as the original material. Patching must not weaken or remove the standards set for the product.
- Store the garment in a dark and dry place.
Renew your work clothes regularly.
Wash your clothes often enough. Clothing bearing the EN marking only meets the stated standards in pure condition. Extremely dirty and damaged clothing should be replaced.
