ATS – Ammattityökalut Oy (Atex Workwear) is a family business founded in 1992, which specializes in the manufacture, import and wholesale of work clothes. In addition to our own workwear, we sell safety shoes, protective equipment, professional tools as well as leisure clothing and disposable coveralls to companies and communities.
Our headquarters and logistics center is located in Porvoo, in eastern Uusimaa.

Tiina ja Jari Toivonen founded Ats – Ammattityökalut Oy in1992.
In that case, the main product groups are tools and protective equipment.
Sales were started by marketing special tools and protective equipment for the construction industry from shop trucks, as well as from our own stores in Tampere and Turku.
The tools in our selection were bought in Finland and some were also imported from West Germany.
Work clothes and protective equipment were bought from domestic manufacturers, but new model work clothes made in Sweden were also sold. Selling and marketing the products purchased from Sweden was initially very difficult due to their differences (hanging pockets).
Clothing design is a very important part of our operations, and our professional clothing designers with tens of years of work experience are constantly following the changing needs and standards of our industry. Our clothes comply with official requirements and are certified as necessary.
Thanks to our clothing design expertise and our own production facility, we can offer our customers an easy opportunity to create clothes and outfits designed for their own operating environment. Clothes can be personalized with, for example, the customer's desired colors or the company's logo.
