RFID (radio frequency identification)

Atex Workwear offers the ability to integrate RFID technology into your clothing. With automated remote sensing, a customer company can identify in real time where a garment is moving and, for example, set alarms if a person who does not have the right clothes and protectors on board arrives. RFID remote sensing also enables large volumes of clothing to be read at one time, which simplifies inventory management and greatly increases the transparency of workwear clothing circuits for both us and our customers.

Benefits of RFID:

  • Enables real-time clothing tracking
  • Enables tracking of a single garment in a cycle / during its life cycle
  • Enables monitoring of wash cycles
  • Enables optimization of clothing quantities
  • Allows availability of correct sizes and quantities on site (eg customer’s premises)
  • Improve occupational safety – eg by blocking access to “wrong clothes” in certain areas
  • Reduce / stop loss / theft: “workwear walks out the back door”
  • Supports more responsible operations by enabling optimized production volumes, reducing unnecessary shipments and excess storage
  • Reduces the need for buffer storage
  • Our solutions help companies in many ways: they improve product traceability and thus product safety, and ensure that people always have the right working clothes for them, for example. There are many applications to use, and technological development is only adding to this range.
