Workwear protection features must meet the risk management requirements of each job. Security features help you choose the right product for the right job. These features are described as official EN standard number series as well as pictograms. You can find more of these on our standards page.

In addition to official labeling, we also use verbal descriptions and abbreviations on our site to make the labels more readable. The verbal descriptions and abbreviations of the security features of our products are listed below:

ANTISTATIC (AST) 

Antistatic products refer to clothing that protects against electrostatic charge.

Standard: EN 1149-5

HIGH-VISIBLE (Hi-Vis)

High-visible products are designed for work where visibility is important both in daylight and in low light.

 

Standard: EN ISO 20471

FLAME RETARDANT (FR) 

Flame retardant products protect the user from short flame contact and heat.

Standards: EN ISO 11612 and for welding work EN ISO 11611

ARC 

Electric ARC products are suitable for voltage applications where arcing is possible.

Standard: IEC 61482-2

MULTINORM

As its name implies, Multinorm products meet many standards and are certified to a number of European standards.

These products have been developed for demanding work environments with extensive risk management requirements. The range’s attire is suitable for occupations where, in addition to visibility, they require protection against electricity, arc, fire and heat, as well as the potential hazards of various chemical splashes.
